PADI Master Instructor - Scuba Diving since 2005

In the beginning of 2005, Joe enrolled in his Open Water course on Long Island, NY, along with his father and brother. They completed their checkout dives in the Bahamas, loved every second, and wanted more. Every chance they got, they would continue to take courses together, and dive as much as possible. Vacation destinations were purely based on great diving opportunities.
In 2011, Joe decided to make the jump into the professional realm of the dive industry by signing up for his Divemaster and Open Water Scuba Instructor courses with Rainbow Reef. The original intention was to head back to NY after the classes were completed, and to teach part-time, but plans quickly changed when he was offered a position at Ocean Divers in Key Largo. Since then, Joe has been working his way up the PADI Instructor ranks, earning numerous Specialty Instructor ratings, his PADI Master Instructor, and EFR Instructor Trainer rating. Recently, Joe has been focusing on driving the boats, but always jumps at the opportunity to teach a course, or just go dive with his buddies.
In addition to his many teaching qualifications, Joe is also a certified PSI-PCI Visual Cylinder Inspector, Valve Repair Technician and Oxygen Cleaning Technician. He earned his B.B.A. in Management and Leadership shortly before moving to Key Largo, and hopes to continue towards his Masters Degree in the future.
