I have been working in the SCUBA and rebreather industry for the past 25 years in both retail management, teaching, dive club manager, travel coordinator, dive show organizer and more.
For the past 7 years I have been creating ways to use the invasive lionfish species to benefit environmental and school programs along with making jewelry and accessories with the spines. I have compared the abundance of colorful fish around our reefs over the past few years and have been very upset with the decline. Working with these local organizations and dive shops around the Florida Keys to search out and eliminate lionfish. I am dedicated to eliminating the invasive lionfish from the oceans where they are hurting the populations of other beautiful fish from our coral reefs.
Before becoming a SCUBA Instructor, I was an Olympic Weightlifter, Ceramic Artist, Sex Therapist and Researcher. I have dove and traveled around the world with my family and dive clubs. Ask me about my favorite places to dive or how to dive with your kids.
