  PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor - Scuba Diving since 2020

  My diving "career" began in January 2020 as a Christmas gift with my husband (you'll find him on here too).  But after the first few dives, I was ready to give up and stick with snorkeling or just swimming.  And diving was something I always wanted to do - I wanted to be an aquanaut - sorry astronauts!  My open water certification was achieved because our amazing instructor spent one on one time with me showing me tricks to achieve the skills required.  Our first open water dive trip in the ocean (with RRDC) was a day with 7-8ft swells; after getting pulled from the water early to go back in...weeeelll, I was not feeling that great.  Fast forward and here we are diving and loving it and calling Rainbow Reef and Key Largo home.  

   

  We have two great dogs - Paladin our GSD and Millie a chocolate lab.   Both doggos love the water and paddleboarding and boats and bike rides.  When not hanging out with Mattie and our dogs, I love reading, running and spending time with my family and friends from Mississippi to Florida!
