  I was born and raised in Daytona Beach and I am recently retired from the US Army. I learned to dive while on a work trip to Palau and knew from that first breath underwater that this is what I wanted to do when I retired. In the Army  I always enjoyed teaching, coaching,  and mentoring my Soldiers and watching  them get excited when they learned a  new skill or learned a new concept -  watching them grow. I knew I would find that same joy teaching people how to dive. Once I retired from the Army, I moved to Key Largo and completed the IDC here at Rainbow Reef and I am excited to be working at Rainbow Reef as an instructor .
