The bow of the USCG Duane meets the mooring at about 100. Seeing this amazing wreck come into view as you descend is one of those dive experiences you will always remember. Upon closer inspection you will realize this ghostly wreck is teeming with life. Every surface is encrusted with corals and sponges, and schools of fish of all size swarm the artificial reef. The main superstructure has plenty of openings for light to light swim-throughs.

Sunk in 1987 and provided with plenty of nutrients from the gulfstream this wreck is covered in colorful corals. Goliath Groupers, Bull Sharks and schools of Barracudas are often spotted here.

Depth is 100-130 feet and currents can be very strong. This dive is recommended for Advanced divers or certified divers with deep diving experience, however an Advanced or Wreck Specialty certification and a reel is required if you wish to penetrate the wreck.
