Eagle Ray Alley
Eagle Ray alley is located between North Star and The Winch Hole. This shallow site consists of a large of sand channel that runs seaward from Molasses shallow to Logan's Run. The high relief coral ledges on either side of the channel have deep undercuts offering protection for a variety of marine life.
Eagle Rays have been known to cruise through the area, however sightings are NOT guaranteed. The sand channel is home to Yellow Headed Jawfish, Stingrays, and Scorpionfish. Make sure to check under the many deep undercuts and ledges for Spotted Drums, Spotted Morays and Glassy Sweepers.
This site is 20 to 30 feet deep, however it can have some current. It is ideal for Open Water training, and all levels of certified divers.
