Located at the North end of French Reef, the Turtle Ledges is a series of spur and groove coral formations with sand channels running parallel to the main reef and high relief coral formations with deep undercuts. The site got its name from the Green, Hawksbill, and Loggerhead Turtles which are often spotted in the area.

This end of French Reef is also where several of the larger critters are found, including Southern Stingrays, Green Moray Eels and Nurse Sharks. The ledges also provide protection for large schools of bait fish and Florida Spiny Lobsters.

A nice easy shallow dive, this site rarely experiences any current. At 20 to 30 feet deep this is a great site for beginner or junior divers.
