Sand Bottom Cave
Sand Bottom Cave is the largest of all of the swim-throughs on French Reef. Located at the center of the reef this site sits between the Donut Hole and Hard Bottom Cave. Dramatic walls and pinnacle formations make this an ideal spot for photographers.
The cave is often packed with glassy sweepers and other small bait fish. Groupers, Parrotfish and Eels also frequent the area, and the hard and soft corals located here are colorful and dramatic.
25 to 30 feet in depth makes this a perfect spot for all levels of divers, and the numerous nearby swim-throughs are great for helping divers perfect their buoyancy control.
