Out of Bounds got it's name because it is at the north end of the French Reef Sanctuary, but is actually outside the sanctuary. There is a shallow ball and a deeper ball, with the shallow area being about 20-30 feet deep and the ball further out to sea is in the 25-45 foot range.

The reef doesn't magically stop at the end of the Sanctuary, it runs for miles up and down the Florida Keys. This site features ledges running North to South and we've seen everything from schools of Eagle Rays to Hammerhead sharks.
