Great drift on Mo this morning! Not too much current but just enough to move the divers from the south end all the way to the north end, not too often you get to see the entire reef on one dive! 2’ waves with an occasional 3’. Great viz with some sharks and squids spotted too! Not a bad morning!

Advanced Open Water

Your diving adventures continue... Whether you have just been certified, or have logged lots of dives, this course will teach you new skills, improve old ones and build confidence and awareness in scuba diving.

Plan out your Advanced Open Water diving:

In total, there are five dives needed to complete your Advanced Open Water certification, but there are two required dives: Navigation and Deep Dive. Both will take your knowledge and enthusiasm to a whole new level.

Typically, we do not have you complete your Deep Dive the first day, and will use Navigation and one of your chosen elective dives to begin the course. The elective dives are listed below, you will choose a total of 3 to complete your training into the Advanced Open Water Certification level.
- Core Dive #1: Navigation
  
  Builds your skills and confidence navigating under water with your compass.
- Core Dive #2: Deep Dive
  
  Teaches you all about the effects and precautions you must take when diving more than 60 feet.
The elective dives are completely your choice, please select dives you are interested in from the lists below and add those 3 elective dives together with your 2 core dives.

That's all there is to it!

In just a couple of days, you'll be Advanced Open Water certified!

Nitrox Upgrade

A great option that can be added to any dive trip or package. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals. Upgrade includes the PADI online class e-code (retail value $232 alone!), 2 Nitrox tanks, and dive computer rental.

Nitrox (Enriched Air Diver)

The latest way to safely give you more time underwater is Enriched air. Better known as NITROX, this higher oxygen mix of diving gas can make you feel less fatigued and load less nitrogen while, in some cases, significantly increasing your bottom time.

The PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course.

Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.

If you’re a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course.

Recreational Avelo Diver (RAD)

Our course teaches divers everything they need to know to dive the Avelo System.

Here's what's included:

Online theory session (1-2 hours)

Our course builds on concepts you are familiar with from your open water theory and expands on topics that are relevant to Avelo and apply to divers at any level.

When completed, choose any of our dive centers to complete your water session. From the moment you successfully complete the theory session, you will have 90 days to complete the in water component. You can extend the 90 day limit by retaking the quizzes to make sure you are still familiar with all Avelo concepts.

Will any of your divers be flying within 18hrs of any of their dives?

Are there any divers in your group who are under the age of 15 and/or who have a limited certification such as "PADI Scuba Diver"?

Terms and Conditions

When you book a dive with us, you agree to these terms and conditions:

We know that sometimes travel plans change or other circumstances arise. We will be happy to refund you 100% any time you give us at least 24hrs notice prior to the date of the trip that you will be unable to join us. If you are a no-show on the day of the trip, or fail to notify us within the 24hr window, we will be unable to refund you and it will result in 100% of the trip fees being due.

Criteria

In order to participate on our dive trips, all divers must meet these minimum requirements:

Must be a certified diver from a recognized certification agency
Must have been diving within the preceding 2 years or will be required to complete a refresher class prior to the scheduled trip
Dives deeper than 60f/18m require Advanced Open Water (or equivalent) certification or documented proof of diving experience to that depth
You understand that this dive trip reservation includes no instructional training, and these trips can not be applied to, or substituted for any recreational dive classes we offer
