PADI Advanced Open Water Diver - Scuba Diving since 2023
Hey guys!
My name is Noah and I’m a 19-year-old German who is doing his gap year with Rainbow.
My special relation to the ocean in a nutshell:
Frankly speaking I’m kinda' new into diving and 2 years ago I couldn’t imagine going underwater, observing sea creatures and having fun! In fact, when I was 3 years old, I refused to bath myself because I feared that a shark could squeeze itself through the freshwater pipes and would eat me. When I got older, I understood that this scenario is actually very unlikely but nevertheless I felt uncomfortable while swimming in a deep pool or even worse: into the ocean. But in the same time beside all that irrational fear I always felt very attracted to that mysterious and almost alien-like world down there and especially to those majestic creatures. And without recognizing it I slowly educated myself about the ocean and his residents, rationalizing all my fears so that at some point I became ready to dive without noticing. After graduating from high school in 2023 I wanted to do something special and by the moment I’ve read about becoming a Scuba Diver and spending my time underwater I was immediately hooked and knew that this is the adventure I always dreamed about! So I flew to Egypt and learned diving there, got my own equipment and finally got the great opportunity to work together with rainbow, learning how to act in the diving industry and improving my diving skills!
If you see me out there:
Feel free to say hi and let me know if I could help you with anything! By this point I do want to mention again that I’m German, so I could help you with any translating problems. In addition to that I understand also French and a bit of Spanish – so if you need some help to communicate and I’m nearby feel free to grab my attention.
See you out there soon!
