  PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor - Scuba Diving since 2018

  My diving journey began in 2009 when I did a Discover Scuba dive in Cancun. I was amazed at the complexity of the reef and the amount of life swimming around me. This spawned my passion for coral reefs and the underwater world. Shortly after graduating High School, I joined the Navy and served 5 years onboard a Submarine. After departing from the Navy, I moved to Key West and attended the College of The Florida Keys. I studied Marine Environmental Technology and Diving Technology and Medicine for three years and completed my Open Water through Rescue diver certifications at the College. I moved back to my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, and worked in the pool construction industry for a few years before deciding I wanted to pursue my passion for Scuba Diving as my career. I completed my Divemaster and Instructor courses at Rainbow Reef in March of 2023. I was thoroughly impressed with their operation and was thrilled to join their team as an instructor! My hobbies include underwater photography, basketball, kayaking, hiking, and anything outdoors. I hope to see you out on the water!
